Illumination Print
Project Overview
A team member from Illumination to create a promotional flyer for an event that they had coming up. They had made similar flyers in the past but wanted something with new information for the upcoming event. I created the document from scratch and added all of the necessary elements that they wanted. They printed the flyers as well as used them on social media for promotion.
Type & Color Studies
I based the color palette on some of the example flyers that Illumination has had in the past. I made a sunset-like gradient using the colors below and added decorative stars to the flyer as well. I decided on Montserrat as my typeface because I felt as though it matched the style of their other flyers.
Final Design
After many hours of ensuring I could give my client the perfect product, I finally finished the flyer. After a few small adjustments to text size and location, the client was happy as well! I love the look of this flyer and was thrilled that the client could use it on social media as well as have it printed.
