User Personas & Scenarios

I developed three different user personas and accompanying scenarios to represent different types of users within the audience. These personas were referenced as the different user experience research methods were being developed, prior to them being conducted. They are used as a guiding source throughout the entire research process.

Card Sort

A card sort was conducted to learn more about where users expected to find specific information within the website. This provided insight into how users would expect the website to be organized in a way that made the most sense to them. Being able to locate information quickly and easily on a website provides a positive user experience.

Final Document

All of the research methods and results that were conducted for this project were combined into one document for easy organization and presentation. Using the research methods conducted for the project, I was able to make design and experience recommendations for a website redesign.

Lessons Learned

Although the website was not (and likely will not be) redesigned based on my research and recommendations, I learned a lot about the user experience research process through this project. Combining different research methods will provide valuable insight into the right direction to take when redesigning a website
